When BDP acquired their new Glasgow Studio in the historic Grosvenor Building, they knew that the design of the space would have to challenge the homeworking option. Luckily with an office full of architects and interior designers this was easily achieved with many colleagues now choosing to work from the studio 5 days a week.

Every aspect of the workspace, designed by Lorna Bryden of BDP, caters to employees' needs. The design includes spacious desks, centrally located meeting tables, soundproofed booths, and an open-plan kitchen with social areas for meals and events, featuring adjustable mood lighting within a mesh grid. Ecophon Solo™ baffles have been installed throughout the space, reducing noise transfer and disruption from social areas into working spaces, whilst complementing the natural flow of the studio and the fundamental need for creative collaboration.
