Tammela Stadium is a modern multipurpose arena completed in spring 2024. The new stadium seats 8,000 spectators and meets key UEFA 4 criteria, allowing Euro and national league football games.

The stadium's heated and well-lit artificial turf is suitable for year-round use, and the unique cable structure of the roof allows an unobstructed view to the field from all over the stands. In addition to the stadium, the city-centre arena complex includes apartment buildings, a shopping centre and a parking facility. The special feature of the apartments is that some of them have a direct view of the stadium pitch – you can watch the games from your own window!

The ceiling solution in the stadium's changing rooms, restaurants, offices and meeting rooms are mainly Ecophon Focus™ Lp and Lp XL acoustic panels, which effectively reduce noise and echo indoors. The semi-concealed grid system that highlights direction and standard colour Volcanic ash compliment the modern, Scandinavian architecture of the stadium.

The project, worth more than EUR 40 million, was implemented using an alliance model. The partners were the City of Tampere, JKMM Architects, Pohjola Rakennus and YIT. The stadium is operated by the local football club Ilves.
